Hubby and I love food. And it’s still hard to get the kids away from peanut butter and vegemite sandwiches. A ridiculous reality we deal with when travelling!
We love the amazing food Anton and Tanya offer at The Long Paddock Lindenow.
It’s a place where farmers, day-trippers and grannies love to converge. Enjoying one-hat quality fare overlooking vegetable farms.
It’s well worth the trip through the picturesque hills and valleys which reveal Victoria’s food bowl. A memorable food experience every time. And such a humble customer experience, which is so refreshing these days.
- Red Duck Curry
- Any gnocchi
- The Grain Salad

How to get there
From Bairnsdale, head up Dargo Road towards 93-95 Main Road Lindenow.
Once you enter the Lindenow township, you will see a white building on the left hand side, usually with lots of cars parked outside.
And when you finish your meal, head over to Mitchell River National Park or Den of Nargun for a walk.
